About Us

Solute Consulting was founded in 1996, to provide Financial Management Services to the Queensland market.
In 2004 Solute expanded its IT capability through the merger with OBC, an IT Planning and Business Solutions company.

Solute’s Professional Services team has extensive business consulting and applied technology expertise, based upon years of experience working with large companies and government departments. Solute’s consultants come primarily from Big Four and large project environments.

Solute Consulting is relocating

After operating from 65 Mary Street for the past three years, we are very pleased to have relocated to new premises. From Monday, 18th January, 2010, Solute Consulting will be operating from offices at Unit 21, Level 3, Bellevue Terraces, 25 Mary Street, Brisbane. All our other contact details remain the same.

Solute Consulting is now publicly offering its “How to develop a Business Case” training course. The course teaches the steps necessary to gather, interpret and present the key information required make informed business decisions. Participants will learn how to:

• Use the iterative approach and 10 process steps to develop a business case;
• Determine the appropriate level of detail for a business case; and
• Identify and manage risks and benefits.

The methodology taught on this course supports and complements industry standard methodologies such as Prince2, PMBoK, BABoK and MSP – as well as benefits methodologies including Results Chain and Cranfield. It also aligns with the Queensland Government Project Assurance Framework (PAF).

We are pleased to advise the following dates for our 2010 business case training courses:

  • 16 and 17 February;
  • 11 and 12 May;
  • 17 and 18 August; and
  • 3 and 4 November.
